Ted fr0m Elliot Maine contacted us with some questions concerning his sewer line.
He lives in a late 1960’s home and as is with most houses built in that era, all the sewer lines were poured into the concrete floor making access difficult.
With pipe patching it is made a easier.
Part of the basement floor is removed and a section of pipe is removed and the resin patch is applied to the interior of the pipe (you can’t see it in this picture) the damaged part runs under the foundation walls to the exterior sewer line.
Resin is left to cure for 45 min
A new section of pipe is attached to the interior sewer line.
The hole is backfilled the floor cemented and the tile put back in place. The entire job took 4 hours.
